Work taking place over the summer

We are currently looking at what produce and services will be available in our shop. We intend to cater for a wide customer base, with everyday essentials at everyday affordable prices and those extra things that will bring a little joy to your weekly shop.

As we are looking at produce, we will post out some questions and want to hear from the community.

We want to cater for those with gluten free and other dietary requirements, your feedback is essential. For example, one villager has recommended Schar as a great brand for gluten free products with a wide range. This is the kind of recommendation we want.

We’re always striving to get it right and we’ve recently visited Fittleworth Stores (www.fittleworthstores.co.uk) who we think have got the balance of shop, cafe and a community hub spot on. We encourage people to visit them and see what we are aiming for.
