We wanted to create a buzz around the village and I think we’ve definitely got people talking and started to revive our community spirit.

The shop and cafe Team have invited a Fishmonger and Baker to set up every Friday to sell their delicious produce.

Our aim was to bring some products to the village even before our shop opens, with the aim of inviting the producers to become suppliers once the shop opens hopefully later this year.

As well as Brownbread supplying some of their speciality bread, we will be stocking the staple cut loaves, Gluten-Free, Allergen free bread products. We’ve had a few suggestions on some of the Freefrom products people want to see on our shelves, so thank you very much.

But there’s more to come, we are currently talking to a greengrocer, to add to our Friday morning duo. 

Social distancing is very important, so don’t forget to keep your distance, but a chat is still possible, with a neighbour, friend or someone new. If you want to find out more about the shop our Ambassadors come along every Friday at different times, you’ll see them circulating around the queues, catch their attention and ask as many questions as you like!
