We’ve been planning it, talking about it, making long lists about it and now we are really pleased and excited to be able to share with you our news that the Normandy Shop & Cafe team are opening a pop-up cafe.
Our venue will be the Normandy Cricket Club, our first pop-up cafe will run on 31 July and will be open from 9.30 am – 12.30 pm and we also plan to open every Friday throughout August, at least.
Apart from enjoying scrumptious cakes and biscuits (all homemade of course), tea, coffee and soft drinks, you will be able to find out more about the progress of the Normandy Shop & Cafe. Members of the committee will be on hand to take your orders and deliver them to your table and answer any questions you may have about the plans for the shop & cafe.
We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment at the venue and all cleaning, handwashing, hygiene procedures and social distancing will be executed in line with the official guidance.
We know our new venture will be very popular and because of social distancing, it will help to have an idea of how many visitors we can look forward to welcoming – can you let us know (either by commenting on this post or sending a message using Facebook or Nextdoor) if you will be joining us?
